Uta Bekaia "Map of My Heart" 2013 Uta Bekaia’s soft sculpture installation Map of My Heart. Uta Bekaia is a New York based Georgian artist and designer. Since 1998 he has collaborated with several theatre troops and film companies on various projects. Some of the plays include: Bernard Shaw’s Don Juan in Hell, Jean Genet’s The Balcony, James Joyce Finnegan’s Wake etc. He worked with director Jim Milton on Michael McClure’s VKTMS and Alice in Wonderland at Kaufman Centre in New York. According to the artist, his objective is to find beauty in our surroundings and highlight it for everyone to see it.
